Viggo was glad that people thought of him as being overly artsy. It gave him an excuse to zone out and no one would think anything of it.
But maybe, he thought, it was artistic. Watching the way the tones of Sean’s golden hair changed as the sunset and the flickering of the firelight became brighter.
He let the laughter of the Hobbits flow around him, an accompaniment to the light show playing out in front of him.
He let his gaze slide down, focusing to meet Sean’s gaze and smiled, wondering what kinds of excuses people made for Sean.
Summary: Being artsy is Viggo's excuse for zoning out.
