'Sean... Sean... wake up.'
There was no answer other than Sean rolling over.
“Sean. You need to get up.”
“Too bloody early,” Sean managed to mutter.
“No... no... We're running late.”
Sean finally opened his eyes to see Viggo standing next to the bed, already dressed, if one was willing to all what Viggo was wearing clothes, rather than rags.
“You could just go without me,” Sean muttered, feeling more peevish when he noticed that it was not even light outside.
“But it wouldn't be the same without you,” Viggo said, glancing anxiously at the clock, somehow oblivious to the fact that if the birds were still sleeping, then civilized people should be as well.
“You're worse than a kid at Christmas,” Sean grumbled as he finally pushed himself from the comfort of his bed and stumbled toward the shower.
“But it's better than Christmas,” Viggo called after Sean, his face lighting up at the thought. “It's Earth Day!”
